Enerzip® E Series – Diesel Generator Sets (16.5kVA – 75kVA)
Powered by Enerzip® Proprietary Engines | Engineered for Reliable Standby & Light Industrial Power
The Enerzip® E Series Diesel Generator Sets are developed for applications where reliability, serviceability, and cost control are more important than complex electronic systems. As a direct generator manufacturer and factory, Enerzip designs and assembles the E Series around our own proprietary diesel engines, upgraded on the Ricardo technical platform and optimized specifically for power generation duty.
Covering the 16.5kVA to 75kVA range, the E Series is widely used as a diesel standby generator, commercial backup generator, and light industrial power generator for residential buildings, telecom sites, small workshops, and commercial facilities. By controlling both engine manufacturing and genset assembly in-house, Enerzip ensures consistent system matching, stable operation, and long-term service reliability.
1. Power Core – Enerzip® Proprietary Diesel Engine Platform
Designed for Generator Duty, Not Automotive Conversion
The E Series is built around Enerzip® proprietary diesel engines developed on the Ricardo industrial engine platform and optimized specifically for generator applications. Unlike automotive-derived engines that are adapted for genset use, these engines are engineered for constant-speed operation, stable combustion, and long service intervals under electrical load.
The engine calibration prioritizes low-speed torque output, which is critical for motor-starting performance in applications such as air-conditioning systems, water pumps, and telecom rectifiers. Mechanical injection architecture and conservative thermal loading help ensure stable operation even under frequent load changes, making the E Series suitable for standby generator systems and light prime power use.
2. Starting System – Reliable Cold Start & Long Standby Performance
Starting reliability is one of the most common failure points in small diesel generator sets, especially after long standby periods. For this reason, Enerzip adopts a conservative and proven starting configuration.
High-torque starter motors from Delco Remy, Bosch, or Denso are selected according to engine displacement to ensure sufficient cranking margin. High-CCA maintenance-free batteries from VARTA, Camel, or Sail are installed as standard, ensuring stable cold-start performance even in low-temperature or infrequently operated installations.
This configuration is widely used in emergency backup generators, residential standby generators, and commercial backup generator systems where immediate response is required.
3. Alternator System – Stable Voltage & Electrical Protection
The alternator system is selected based on application requirements rather than cost alone. Customers may choose alternators from internationally recognized manufacturers including LEROY SOMER, STAMFORD, SIEMENS, MARATHON, ENGGA, or Shanghai Stamford.
All alternators are equipped with Class H insulation, improving thermal resistance during extended operation. Digital AVR systems maintain voltage stability typically within ±0.5%, which is essential for protecting sensitive electronic loads such as office equipment, network hardware, and control systems commonly found in commercial buildings.
4. Control System – Practical Monitoring Without Over-Complexity
The E Series control philosophy focuses on reliability and clarity rather than excessive features. Controllers from Deep Sea Electronics (DSE), ComAp, DEIF, or SmartGen are integrated depending on project requirements.
Standard monitoring includes voltage, frequency, running hours, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fault history. Protection functions cover overspeed, low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, over/under voltage, and short circuit events. Optional remote monitoring modules allow operators to manage the genset remotely, which is particularly useful for telecom sites and unmanned installations.
5. Cooling System – 50°C High-Ambient Engineering Standard
Thermal management is a key factor affecting generator lifespan. The E Series adopts an oversized cooling system designed for 50°C ambient temperature operation as a standard configuration.
Radiator cores are sourced from Weifang Sinrui, Guangzhou Nanhong, or Aksa China, matched precisely to engine heat rejection requirements. Fan diameter, airflow rate, and shroud geometry are engineered as a system to avoid localized overheating, ensuring stable coolant temperature during extended standby or continuous light-load operation.
6. Frame & Fuel Tank – Factory-Built Structural Integrity
As a direct generator manufacturer with in-house sheet metal production, Enerzip controls the mechanical structure of the E Series from raw steel to finished assembly.
The base frame is fabricated using high-grade structural steel with robotic welding to ensure dimensional consistency and long-term rigidity. Integrated base fuel tanks provide 8–24 hours of runtime depending on load and configuration. Each tank is pressure-tested during production to reduce leakage risk during transport and long-term operation.
Anti-vibration mounts are selected based on engine mass and operating speed to minimize vibration transmission to foundations and enclosures.
7. Silent Canopy – Designed for Urban & Residential Environments
For noise-sensitive installations, the E Series is available in silent and super-silent configurations. The enclosure is manufactured using powder-coated steel panels with chemical pre-treatment to enhance corrosion resistance.
Multi-layer acoustic insulation with fire-retardant properties is used to reduce airborne noise while maintaining sufficient airflow for cooling. Typical sound levels range from 65–70 dB(A) at 7 meters, depending on model and enclosure specification, making the E Series suitable for residential backup generators and commercial buildings.
8. Exhaust & Emission Control – Balanced Noise and Backpressure
Exhaust systems are designed to reduce noise without compromising engine performance. Industrial-grade silencers supplied by Foshan Welling or Weifang Sinrui are matched to engine displacement to control exhaust backpressure within acceptable limits.
Engine calibration focuses on stable combustion and compliance with applicable regional emission requirements for small industrial diesel generator sets, ensuring safe operation in urban and semi-industrial environments.
9. Installation & Deployment – Compact, Practical, Site-Friendly
The E Series is designed for straightforward installation and rapid deployment. Integrated lifting eyes and forklift pockets are built into the frame to simplify handling during transport and site positioning.
The compact footprint allows installation in limited mechanical rooms, rooftops, or outdoor pads. Factory pre-wiring and functional testing reduce on-site commissioning time, making the E Series suitable for fast-response projects and standardized commercial generator installations.
