Telkomsel Strengthens Base Station Backup Power Reliability
For telecom base station applications in Indonesia, Enerzip supplied silent diesel generator sets designed to support stable backup power for distributed communication sites. The project includes 100 units of 20 kVA generator sets and 100 units of 30 kVA generator sets, for a total of 200 telecom standby generator sets supplied for base station power support.
These generator sets are configured for 50 Hz / 380 V operation and are designed with silent canopies, AMF controllers, 12-hour base fuel tanks, remote monitoring modules, and anti-corrosion + high-temperature design to meet the operating requirements of outdoor telecom applications. For general reference on telecom backup controller platforms, buyers may also review ComAp InteliLite Telecom DC. The supplied units use Enerzip P Series and DE Series engine platforms, with the P Series based on Perkins engine platforms and the DE Series based on Deutz engine platforms.
This configuration helps improve standby readiness, strengthen site-level power resilience, and support network continuity across distributed telecom base station operations.

Telecom Power Platforms & Integration Solutions
Diesel Generators
For Telecom Power Generator applications, Enerzip recommends the E Series, DE Series, and P Series Diesel Generator Sets. These platforms are designed for telecom towers, relay stations, switching sites, and distributed communication infrastructure that require compact, dependable standby power.
The E Series is especially suitable for smaller remote telecom locations where compact footprint and practical standby use are essential. The DE Series provides additional site flexibility in more demanding outdoor conditions, while the P Series supports larger telecom loads and backup applications that require a more robust diesel standby platform.
Natural Gas Generators
For Telecom Power Generator applications, Enerzip recommends the E Series, D Series, and selected C Series Natural Gas Generator Sets for fixed telecom sites with stable gas supply and long-term backup requirements. These platforms are suitable for communication hubs, switching stations, enterprise telecom support sites, and larger network facilities where operators want dependable standby or prime gas power.
The E Series is a good fit for smaller fixed telecom locations that value compact design and easy maintenance. The D Series supports mid-range telecom and remote-station loads where stronger response and better industrial durability are needed, while the C Series can support larger telecom hubs and heavier critical communication infrastructure.
ATS
For Telecom Power Generator applications, ATS is a highly relevant part of the backup architecture because communication sites often require automatic generator response during utility failure. Enerzip recommends the ATSE Series Automatic Transfer Switches for telecom towers, switching stations, relay points, and remote communication hubs where continuous service and fast transfer to standby power are essential.
The ATSE Series can be integrated with compact standby generator systems and common telecom backup control strategies to support reliable switching performance. For distributed network infrastructure, ATS integration helps reduce outage response time and supports more dependable telecom service continuity across fixed backup sites.
Paralleling & Grid-connect Systems
For Telecom Power Generator applications, the EZ-PGC Series is most relevant for larger telecom hubs, switching facilities, or network support centers rather than small individual tower sites. Where multiple standby generators are required to support high-availability communications infrastructure, the system helps coordinate synchronization, load sharing, and stable backup operation across the site.
For most small remote telecom locations, a single compact generator and ATS are sufficient. But for bigger communication facilities with higher redundancy expectations or campus-style load distribution, paralleling control provides a more scalable and dependable architecture that can support staged load growth and improved network continuity.
Compact Backup Architecture for Distributed Networks
Telecom sites may be small in size, but their backup strategy still needs to be designed as a system. Tower sites, switching stations, relay points, and communication hubs often require the right balance of compact generator sizing, ATS response, remote monitoring, autonomy, and fuel planning. Enerzip approaches Telecom Power Generator projects as integrated backup systems built around network continuity rather than just equipment supply.
For smaller remote stations, a compact generator plus ATS may be enough. For larger telecom facilities, synchronized backup and broader control integration may be required. By aligning the generator platform, switching logic, and monitoring approach with the actual network profile, Enerzip helps operators build more dependable and scalable telecom standby systems.
